After settling in San Francisco in the 60s, Lemon formed several bands and created his own recording space, Crib Nebula Studios. He met and worked with the amazing Paul Pena, helping to create the award winning documentary Genghis Blues about their voyage to Tuva and into the culture of throatsinging. Lemon also worked with Jolie Holland, helping to engineer and produce several tracks on her album Catalpa as well as Springtime Can Kill You and Escondida. When he’s not skipping out to Thailand or Cambodia, Lemon still performs with his band Neither/Neither World. You may find his automobile-focused autobiographical info and updates on projects at www.lemondegeorge.com. |
