If it’s not deer it’s crows. If it’s not crows, it’s deer, or it’s both.
Great respect be to those who know how to talk with the animals. Such has been the case in the house of Hurley who has been known to observe the wild friends of his yard and cultivate relationships centered around tortilla hand outs, tall grassy spots of refuge, and a quiet voice behind the video camera. At one point the guests in the yard were in various stages of horn growth and named accordingly as they carried on their daily routines (No Point and Some Point being the most frequent frequenters). It takes a gentle hand to keep such creatures calm, and a special mind to capture what they're up to.
